Standard Check
To perform a standard check, do the following:
1. Checkthatfastenersareinplace,secure,andtorquedcorrectly.
2. Checkwheelsforwear,tightness,andtirepressure.
3. Checkthatmatsareintact,secure,andfreeofdebris.
4. CheckLeanSteerframefortightness;makesureLeanSteerframereturnstocenter.
5. Checktomakesurethatnopartisdamagedorloose.
Operational Test
To perform an operational test, do the following:
1. Checkforobstructionundermats.
2. CheckLeanSteerframefortightnessandcenteredorientation.
3. Turnonandpoweroffmachinetwice.
4. Confirmadequatebatterylevels.
5. Turnonmachinetotestriderdetect.(Makesurethatdisplaydoesnotindicatethatrider
detectbuttonisonatstart‐up.)Tiltunitbackandpr
essoneachriderdetectbutton.
6. Whileholdingmachineplatformlevel,tapmatwithyourfoottoenterbalancemode.
7. Steponandridemachine.
