Parameters
5.10.6.1.5 Speed
The Speed can be used to adapt the maximum transmission speed of the LECTOR
®
620 to
the speed of the network.
To ensure a reliable connection, you are advised to automatically determine the speed of a
directly connected PC (A
UTO).
5.10.6.1.6 Negotiated
The current speed is displayed in the Negotiated display field.
For this, there must be a connection between the LECTOR
®
620 and the PC.
5.10.6.1.7 MAC-Address
The MAC-Address display field shows a unique number for devices with an Ethernet inter-
face. This number can be used to uniquely identify the LECTOR
®
620.
5.10.6.2 Ethernet Host Port
The Ethernet Host Port group contains the parameters for configuring the Ethernet Host in-
terface. The Ethernet Host interface is typically used for communication with the controller
5.10.6.2.1 Output Format
You use the Output Format parameter to select the output format for the interface.
• N
O OUTPUT: There is no data output via this interface.
• O
UTPUT FORMAT 1: In the event of output via this interface, the data is formatted in line with
the configuration in the Output format 1 group.
• O
UTPUT FORMAT 2: In the event of output via this interface, the data is formatted in line with
the configuration in the Output format 2 group.
5.10.6.2.2 Multiplexer output
The data output can be switched on or off via the Multiplexer output parameter.
5.10.6.2.3 Server/Client
The Server/Client parameter is used to select the function of the LECTOR

• C
LIENT: Within a network, the LECTOR
®
620 is subordinate to a server. The server is defi-
ned via the Server Address parameter.
5.10.6.2.4 IP port
The IP port parameter is used to adapt the port number for the Ethernet Host interface (de-
fault value: 2112) to the connected PC or the controller (PLC).
