5.10.6.2.5 Server Address
The Server Address parameter is used to define the IP address of the server to which the
LECTOR
®
620 is assigned within a network.
5.10.6.2.6 Enable heartbeat
If the Enable heartbeat parameter is activated, a signal is output via the interface at regular
intervals (Heartbeat interval). The availability of the LECTOR
®
620 can therefore be checked
via the interface.
5.10.6.2.7 Heartbeat interval
The Heartbeat interval parameter is used to define the time between the heartbeat signals
in s.
5.10.6.2.8 Restart interval on sending
If the Restart interval on sending parameter is activated, the time between the heartbeat
signals starts again after output of the reading results.
5.10.6.3 Ethernet Aux Port
The Ethernet Aux Port group contains the parameters for configuring the Ethernet Aux inter-
face. The Ethernet Aux interface is typically used to parameterize and analyze the LEC-
TOR
®
620.
5.10.6.3.1 Output Format
You use the Output Format parameter to select the output format for the interface.

O OUTPUT: There is no data output via this interface.

EADING DIAGNOSIS: This interface is used to output a diagnosis string for each reading gate.
• O
UTPUT FORMAT 1: In the event of output via this interface, the data is formatted in line with
the configuration in the Output format 1 group.
• O
UTPUT FORMAT 2: In the event of output via this interface, the data is formatted in line with
the configuration in the Output format 2 group.
For the reading diagnosis, the following information is combined in a diagnosis string for
each reading gate:
• TT: Length of the reading gate in ms
• OTL: Trigger length in mm
• CC: Number of codes per reading gate
• FC: Focus length in mm
• Code content
• Code type
for 1D symbologies
• CL: Code length
• RSD1DV: Proportion of scans to decoded scans in (reading reliability) in %
