5.10.7.1.5 Assembly size input on the PLC
The Assembly size input on the PLC parameter identifies the size of the outgoing telegrams
to the PLC in bytes. Values can be specified between 8 and 500 bytes.
5.10.8 Web server
The device web server is activated and deactivated on the Web server tab.
The web server in the reading device provides statistical data on reading processes via
Ethernet TCP/IP. The statistical data can be retrieved by the user via a web browser.
The device IP address is specified on the Ethernet tab.
5.10.8.1 Web server
The device web server is activated and deactivated in the Web server group.

5.10.8.1.1 Activate web server at device startup
The device web server is activated and deactivated via the Activate web server at device
startup parameter. Once the web server is activated, it starts automatically every time the
device is restarted. The device must be restarted when the web server is activated for the
first time.
5.10.9 Monitoring
The Monitoring tab is used to activate ports for a TCP device connection which monitors the
device communication via the serial host or aux interfaces.
A TCP connection to the device is only possible if an output format is activated at the
monitored interface. The output format is activated on the Serial tab.
The function is used to monitor the data exchange between PLC and device via serial inter-
faces on a terminal.
5.10.9.1 Monitored ports
The Monitored ports group is used to activate ports for a TCP device connection which mo-
nitors the device communication via the serial host or aux interfaces.
A TCP connection to the device is only possible if an output format is activated at the
monitored interface. The output format is activated on the Serial tab.

5.10.9.1.1 Serial host interface (port 4003)
If the Serial host interface (port 4003) parameter is activated, the serial host interface can
be monitored via TCP and port 4003.
