Checking signal strength
The signal strength of the light grids is already set up at the factory.
If the signal strength is sufficient, the yellow LED on both receiving units will be off.
If the yellow LED flashes, the signal that is being received is too weak. A teach-in process
must be carried out (see chapter 7.9.2.3 Performing teach-in).
Checking whether objects are detected
▸
Move an object or your hand into the monitoring field of the light grids. The yellow LED
must light up on the receiver of each of the light grid pairs.
The yellow LED lights up if at least one beam of light is interrupted. Once the object is
removed, the yellow LED should go out.
