Procedure in STEP 7 V5.3 Service Pack 3 or higher
1. Configure ET 200pro in the configuration table of HW Config.
2. Select two modules to group within a byte.
3. Activate the "Compress addresses" button in the configuration table.
Note
The system does not generate swapping interrupts (OB
83) for modules grouped in
7 applications.
In this case, you can identify a removed module by evaluating the module status returned
in the diagnostic frame in the cyclic user program.
