4.5 Control recipe generator
The control recipe generator takes the form of an application running
asynchronously in the background. When a batch is released (by BOM or by
batch planning) this activates the control recipe generator. The batch status
changes to release running and after successful recipe generation is changed
to released. Should an error occur during control recipe generation, the batch
will be labeled with Release error. A feedback message that generation has
taken place is sent to both applications and to batch control (see Figure 4-26).
The error can be localized via the ’Context’ menu and the ’Diagnosis’
function.
If the recipe contains $ variables with mandatory parametrization, the
corresponding parameters will be asked for by BOM or batch planning.
