1.5.5 Batch control
Batch Control makes it possible for the batch to be executed, operated and
monitored in on-line mode including co-ordination, initiation and monitoring
of automation functions. Taken individually these functions are:
S Batch execution
– Batches with the operating mode ’Automatic’ will be executed
automatically
– Status displays and state transitions of the batches in the batch status
list
– Status displays and state transitions of the control recipes in the recipe
generator
– Extracts from equipment occupancy
– Exception handling
S Batch visualization and operating
– Opening batches via the batch status list
– Starting, pausing, resuming or aborting batches
– Recipe window with the possibility of modifying a control recipe (as
with recipe creation)
– Changing switching modes SSMB, SSMT and so on.
S Interfaces
– OS data manager
– OS signaling system
– Batch data preparation
Batch control requires the Runtime System of WinCC OS. In other words,
WinCC must be installed on the same computer.
