The batch status denotes the state of a batch. In the batch status list the only
batches which can be activated for control are those which have the status
released. A charge is started either automatically from the waiting state once the
first apparatus(es) has or have become free, or manually by operator action.

Batch status Meaning
Released Only batches with this status can be activated for
control.
Waiting The batch has started but since the required
apparatus is not free it goes into this state.
Running The batch is now being executed.
Paused The batch has been paused by operator
intervention.
Error At least one AF in the batch’s control recipe has
signaled a fault or batch control itself is in an
exceptional state.
