You can start or terminate the other applications with the aid of BOM. The
applications list, which is run and managed by BOM, shows an overview of
all applications.
Management functions connected with recipes can also be carried out via
BOM. If you wish to open a recipe – in other words, to access it for editing
with the recipe editor – you can do this via the recipes list which BOM runs
and manages. You can also insert, copy, rename and delete recipes, and so
on.
You can also insert, open, delete and log batches, and so on. This is
particularly useful if the optional program package is not being used. You can
activate all these functions via the batch overview list which BOM manages.
BOM performs another important task via the users list. You can add users of
BATCH flexible to this list and also assign them to a particular user group.
Individually tailored user privileges can be assigned to the users and to the
user groups. This means that a user can be listed only for recipe creation, for
example, and authorized to perform this activity alone.
BOM provides you with a central overview of all recipes, batches and so on
currently being processed: this is the editing list.
