4.2 Description of a recipe
A recipe consists of the two basic components: the recipe header and the
recipe body with the corresponding data:

Basic components of a recipe
Detailed design and planning of the recipe header and recipe body is dealt
with in Chapter 4.4.3 (Specifying recipe properties).
A recipe consists of an arrangement of elements (see Figure 4-3) which must
stand in a relationship to each other defined by syntactical rules (see Chapter
4.4.2, Configuring recipes). The following elements may be distinguished here:
step (AF), see Page 4-20; transition, see Page 4-21; the structure elements,
parallel branch, alternative branch, substructure and loop (see Page 4-16).
