1.6.1 Interplay of BATCH applications with WinCC
BATCH applications can be started either from the Windows interface or
from WinCC. BATCH applications will then not link up to WinCC unless
they are started from WinCC. This means that the following will apply to
connecting and to taking over or updating users with WinCC:
S No automatic start from WinCC takes place
S The BATCH application does not set up any WinCC interconnection. This
also applies if WinCC is already running. If WinCC is started
subsequently this will not affect the BATCH application.
S The Windows user is accepted as user. Any later changes of the user in
WinCC will not be taken into account.
S Exception: The applications Batch Control (server) and Batch Data
Preparation cannot be started unless WinCC Runtime is already running.
Batch Control will then be started anyway from WinCC and Batch Data
Management from batch control.
S The application works with a WinCC interconnection.
S If the current WinCC project is a different one from the WinCC project
which the BATCH application was last connected to, the user will be
informed of this and he can then decide whether connection should be
made to the current WinCC project.
S The current WinCC user will be taken over as user and changes of the
user under WinCC will be copied to BATCH flexible applications.
S Note: If the user starts a BATCH application from WinCC which was
active before WinCC, the BATCH application will be post-connected to
WinCC with the current WinCC user also being taken over.
