6. You will be shown the following selection of BATCH flexible programs
for installation, together with the memory required:
– Recipe System
– Batch Control
– Batch Planning
– Batch Data Management
– In addition you will need to specify the languages for the software
packages to be installed. These languages can be selected irrespective
of the language used for SETUP.
Successful continuation of installation requires at least one software
package and one language to have been selected (√).
You can use the ’Change’ button to further refine the components to
be installed – for example, with the recipe system an entry is possible
for the Object Packager, Recipe Editor or Control Recipe Generator.
Here, too, indication of the memory needed in each case will be
adjusted automatically.
7. You can select the language for starting the application from the
languages which you specified under the program to be installed.
8. Further entries are:
– DB project name: this is an application-specific project name.
– DB server: This possible entry will not be displayed unless you carry
out a client installation. Here you should type in the name of the
computer which was specified as server during installation.
9. The details of the current settings will be displayed for confirmation. If
you want to make changes you can do this by pressing the ’Back’ button.
Following confirmation, the real installation process starts.
The SETUP programs of the individual software packages which you
selected in the way described above will be called automatically. The
software is installed and immediately thereafter initialized. For each software
package this process can take around five minutes.
At this point you can carry out authorization. However, should further
installations of PCS 7 process system components such as CFC or WinCC be
required as well, you can also deal with authorization later. Authorization is
specific to each software package.
User rights (user groups) will be created automatically without you being
giving an opportunity to intervene.
