9.3 Evaluating errors/messages using the FB
In the event of an error, the FB of WP351 reads out DR32 automatically. Data/operating errors
and technology messages are reported for 3 s. Operating errors remain permanently until the
cause is resolved.

Operating errors Error
code
Description and remedy
1000 operating error exists 1000 Group message, there is at least one operating error.
1001 Watchdog 1001 Watchdog error. A serious error has occurred in the function of the electronic
weighing system.
Contact SIWAREX Support if the error continues to occur.
1003 Checksum error (parame‐
ters)
1003 The checksum of the parameters no longer matches. Remedy: Load factory
settings. Contact SIWAREX Support if the error continues to occur.
1004 checksum error (firmware) 1004 The checksum of the electronic weighing system FW no longer matches.
Remedy: Load factory settings. Contact SIWAREX Support if the error con‐
tinues to occur.
1006 Log book full or defective 1006 Error when writing/clearing the logbook. Remedy: Load factory settings.
Contact SIWAREX Support if the error continues to occur.
1008 Connection to S7 CPU inter‐
rupted
1008 Communication with S7 CPU not possible even though S7 bus controller
(PER) power supply is present (=> incompatible SW versions (BTF only on
K61 side, for S7 message, see below under S7 diagnostic alarms)
1102 ADC error 1102 AD converter error when reading the measured value. Remedy: Check and
follow recommendations for installation meeting EMC requirements
(section EMC-compliant installation (Page 19)).
1104 SENSE voltage too low 1104 Undervoltage on the SENSE cables. A voltage between 4.85 V DC and
10 V DC must be present between SEN+ and SEN-. If necessary, check the
wiring of the load cells or, in the case of 4-wire load cells, the wire jumpers
between EXC+&SEN+ and EXC-&SEN- in the terminal box.
1105 SIG voltage too high (load
high)
1105 The maximum SIG input signal of the AD converter has been exceeded by
more than 10%.
Check the wiring of the load cell(s).
If the wiring is correct, check the input and output resistances of the load cells.
By checking the resistors, you can find out whether one or more load cells are
defective.
1106 SIG voltage too low (load
low)
1106 The minimum SIG input signal of the AD converter has been undershot by
more than 10%.
Check the wiring of the load cell(s).
If the wiring is correct, check the input and output resistances of the load cells.
By checking the resistors, you can find out whether one or more load cells are
defective.
