6.17 DR22 Tolerance parameters
6.17.1 Overview
In DR22, you specify the tolerance limits that are to be used in a tolerance check by the
electronic weighing system. You can define two tolerance bands around the set point. After the
tolerance check, the result of the check is available in the scale status.
The tolerance limits around the set point are as follows:
TH 2
TH 1
SET POINT (DS 20)
TL 1
TL 2
Example: TH2 & TL2 is defined with 2 kg. TH1 & TL1 is defined with 1 kg.
When the weight was dosed with an accuracy of +/- 1 kg around the specified set point, dosing
is evaluated with "Good". If the final weight differs by more than +/- 2 kg from the specified set
point, the tolerance check returns "Bad".
You also define the reaction of the scale to a tolerance error in DR22.
6.17.2 Parameter relation [parameterRelation]
The parameters define how you interpret the specified tolerance limits TH2, TH1, TL1 and TL2.
The following options are available:
Selection code Meaning
0 (default) The tolerance limits are interpreted as percentages of the set point in DR20.
1 The tolerance limits are interpreted as absolute weight values
2 The tolerance limits are calculated based on OIML R61 "Limits of error on verification
Class X1".
3 The tolerance limits are calculated based on OIML R61 "Maximum permissible errors
in service Class X1".
In general, the currently valid tolerance limits in DR30 are output in the weight unit. When you
select selection codes 2 and 3, the tolerance limits TH2, TH1, TL1 and TL2 entered in DR22 are
ignored. The limits are calculated automatically in accordance with the OIML directive.
6.17.3 Tolerance limit TH2 (weight unit) [toleranceLimitTh2]
This parameter defines the limit of the second tolerance band above the set point. The setting
conforms to the selected tolerance reference (percentage or absolute) and must be greater
than or equal to tolerance limit TH1.
