Mounting on the SIMATIC ET 200SP
Only use the electronic weighing system in conjunction with a SIMATIC ET 200SP distributed
I/O system. Install the electronic weighing system in a control cabinet. Observe the information
on the protection class and degree of pollution in the section Technical data (Page 149).
When installing the SIMATIC components with the electronic weighing system described
herein, follow the setup, assembly and wiring guidelines for the SIMATIC ET 200SP. See
system manual (

The electronic weighing system is snapped onto the SIMATIC ET 200SP BaseUnit (BU).
Connect the load cells, the digital input and digital output signals to the BaseUnit of the
electronic weighing system. The infeed of the supply voltage at the light-colored BaseUnit of the
associated potential group supplies the electronic weighing system and the digital outputs and
generates the load cell supply voltage. All information about connecting is available in section
