10 System Troubleshooting
10.2 Fault Diagnostics
The common faults are listed as follows, you can take them as reference.
NOTE:
The following sections are for reference only, you should make a on-site fault diagnostics with
care.
10.2.1 Startup Faults
Fault Description Solution
Unable to start up the
system
The ultrasound system cannot
be started up by pressing the
Power On/Off button, and the
keyboard indicator does not
illuminate.
Ensure the ultrasound system is
connected to the mains supply
and powered on, the input
voltage meets the requirement.
Ensure the fuse is not a blown
one.
If the fault cannot be solved,
replace the power supply.
No Display
No display on the monitor
or the monitor indicator
illuminates in red or orange
after the system startup.
Replace the VGA monitor, and
connect it to the VGA port of the
ultrasound system.
Prompt for Password
A password prompt appears
after the system self-test
screen is displayed.
Ensure there are no stuck keys, and
clean the keyboard.
Black Screen
The ultrasound system stops
at a black screen after startup.
Update the touch-screen
software if it cannot be started
up.
Ensure the touch screen is
connected well if it can be
started up. Power off the
ultrasound system, and reboot it.
If the fault cannot be solved,
replace RAM or reinstall the
system software.
