3 Principle Descriptions
3.1 System Block Diagram
The ultrasound system consists of probe board, VBF board, high-voltage board, QM67 industrial
main board, keyboard, main board of the touch screen, KEAA board, internal IO board, LED
indicator board and external IO board. They are described as follows:
Core unit (including probe board, VBF board and high-voltage board) accomplishes the transmit
and acquisition of ultrasound beams, the compound of AD sampling beams and the process of
Doppler signals.
QM67 industrial board provides the hardware control for the ultrasound system.
Keyboard and touch screen are in ergonomic design.
KEAA board and internal IO board provide the signal transition.
LED indicator board illuminates the pull-out keyboard.
External IO board outputs the signals, and provides interfaces for print workstation.
Connections between boards are shown in Figure 3-1.
