does not print
Cause Remedy
– System test: Instrument defective – Return instrument to service
department
– Filter test: Instrument defective – Return instrument to service
department
– Wavelength calibration:
– Foreign particle in the cell shaft
– Lens smudged
– Instrument defective
– Remove foreign object
– Clean the lens (see section 5.2.3
or section 6.1). If this happens
repeatedly, check the operating
conditions (see section 3.2)
– Return instrument to service
department
Cause Remedy
– Printer not suitable – Connect a printer that can inter-
pret the printer control language
