• Continue arranging letters as desired. Once you are satisfied with the positions of the letters, select all and
apply Path>Union:
• Alternatively, if you do not want to make the weld permanent, you can select the shapes and mark the Weld
option on the Style Panel as covered in Section 2.03.3.
4.09 Tracing and Drawing
• The Trace Image function is used to convert a raster image (e.g., JPG, BMP, PNG) file into a vector
cuttable file. This is a powerful tool in CREATE and is covered in detail in Sections 5.01 – 5.03 of the
StarCraft CREATE User Manual.
• On the Toolbar, click the Trace Image icon to open the Trace Image window:
