In case of emergency/Flat tires
CAUTION
Replace the sealant bottle with a
new one before the expiration date
passes.
! How to seal the flat tire
To seal the flat tire, perform the following
two steps.
First, pump in the sealant and air (step 1).
Drive the vehicle for approximately 10
minutes or 5 km (3 miles) so that the
sealant can seal the damaged area. Stop
the vehicle again, check and, if necessary,
adjust the pressure of the damaged tire
(step 2). After that, you can continue to
drive carefully no faster than 80 km/h (50
mph) and within the maximum distance of
200 km (125 miles).
Inform all other users of the vehicle that
the tire has been temporarily sealed with
the flat tire repair kit and make them aware
of the special driving conditions to be
observed.
Step 1: Pumping in the sealant and air
1. Shake the sealant bottle well.
2. Make sure the compress or power
switch is OFF.
3. Remove the cap of the bottle and
break the aluminum seal to make a hole.
CAUTION
Be careful not to spill the sealant.
4. Insert the semitransparent tube into
the hole, and then tighten the sealant
application cap until it clicks.
5. Connect the compressor hose to the
sealant application cap.
CAUTION
Be careful not to allow the hose to
become twisted.
