ENGINE
•
Install
the
dowel
pins
CD.
•
Place
each
camshaft
journal
holders
and
cam
chain
guide
into
the
correct
position.
NOTE:
Camshaft
journal
holders
marked
~EX"
are
for
the
exhaust
side
and
those
marked
"IN"
are
for
the
intake
side
.
• Tighten the camshaft journal holder
bolts
to
the specified
torque.
~
Camshaft Journal
holder
bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgl-m, 7.0 Ib-ft)
NOTE:
When tightening the camshaft joumal holder
bolts,
the piston
position
must
be
at
TDC
on
the
compression
stroke
.
CYLINDER HEAD COVER
•
Thoroughly
wipe
off
oil
from
the
fitting
surfaces
of
the
cylinder
head
and
cover.
• Apply SUZUKI BOND -1207B"
to
Ihe end caps of Ihe cylinder
head
cover
gasket
as
shown
.

•
Apply
engine
oil
to
both
sides
of
the
washer
<D.
•
Lightly
tighten the cylinder head cover bolls
in
diagonal
stages
,
and
then
tighten
them
to
the
specified
torque.
