Suzuki LT-Z400 2003 - Starter Relay Inspection

• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" 10 1he o·nng .

STARTER RELAY INSPECTION
• Remove the seat. ( c::7 6-4)
• Disconnect the battery e lead wire at battery terminal.
• Remove the starter relay cover CD.
• Disconnect the starter motor lead wi r e, battery lead wire and
starter relay coupler at the starter relay.
Apply 12 V to the terminals and check for continuity between the
positive and negative terminals using the multi circuit tester, if
the starter relay clicks and continuity is found, the relay is ok.

I CAUTION I
Do not apply a battery voltage to the starter relay for
more than five seconds .
This may overhe at and damage the relay coil.
