Remove the brake caliper mounting bolts

and brake pad
mounting pins

• Remove the brake pads.
I CAUTION I
•
Do
not
operate the brake lever
during
or
after brake
pad
removal.
* Replace the brake pads as a set,
otherwise
braking
performance will be adversely affected.
• Install the new brake pads.
NOTE:
* Before installing the new pads, inspect the pad mounting pins
for wear.
If
excessive wear is found, replace them with new
ones .

be installed to the calipe piston side

Make sure that the detent
of
pad ;s fitted to the detent on the
brake
caliper
holder.
• Tighten
the
brake pad
mo
unting pins @ and brake caliper
mounting bolts @ to the specified torqu
e.

After replacing the brake pads, pump the brake lever several
times to check for proper brake operation and then check the
brake fluid level.
