CAM CHAIN TENSION ADJUSTER
• Apply engine oil to the push rod.
• Unlock the ratchet mechanism CD and push the push rod ~ all
the way.
• Install the new gasket and cam chain tension adjust er to the
cylinder.
• Tighten th e cam chain tension adjuster mounting bolts to the
specified torque.
(!J Cam chain tension adjuster mounting bolt:
10 N·m (1 .0 kgf-m , 7.0 Ib-It)
• Install the spring @.
• Tighten the spring holder bolt to the specified torque.
C!J Cam chain tension spring holder bolt:
30 N·m (3.0 kgf-m , 21 .5 Ib-It)
