DISASSEMBLY
• Drain Ihe brake fluid. (

• Place
a rag underneath the brake hose union bolt on the mas-
tercylinder to catch any spl
it
brake fluid. Remove the brake
hose
uni
on
bolt
<D
and
disconnect
the
brake hose
(6).
ICAUTIONI
Immediately
wipe
off
any brake
fluid
contacting
any
part
of
the
veh
ic
le. The brake
fluid
reacts
chemically
with
paint,
plastics
,
rubber
materials, etc., a
nd
will
damage them severely.
• Loosen the locknut
@.
• Remove the master cylinder mounting bolt @.
• Remove the master cylinder
by
turning the master cylinder
rod
$.
• Disconnect the reservoir tank hose @.
