3-8 ENGINE
• Install the engine sprocket with drive chain after loosening the
chain adjuster bolts.
NOTE :
The fetter ® on the engine sprocket should face to the outside .
• Apply THREAD LOCK SUPER "1303" to the sp rocket bolts .
• 99000-32030: THREAD LOCK SUPER "1303"
•
Tighten the engine sprocket bolts to the specified torque .
~ Engine sprockel boll : 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 Ib-It)
•
In s tall the engine coolant hose . ([ :::7 8-1 8)
• I nstall the spacer CD with a-ring to the engine oil ou tl et pipe.
• Tighten the engine oil outlet pipe bolt <2> secu r ely .
• Tighten the engine oil inlet pipe union bolt to the specified
torque .
~ Inlel pipe union bolt : 23 N·m (2 .3 kgf-m, 16 .5 Ib-It)
• After installing the engine, route the wiring harness, cabl es
and hoses properly. ( c:r a-l1 to 8-1 8)
• Adjust the following items .
• Engine oil c::r 2-12
~ Engine oil capacity
011 change: 2000 ml (2. 111 .8 USRmp ql)
011 and filter change: 2100 ml (2.211 .8 USRmp qt)
Engine overhaul:
2200 ml (2. 3/1 .9 USRmp qt)
• Adjust the drive chain slack c:::7 2-22
* Throttle cable play c:::7 2-11
* Engine idle speed c:::? 2-11
• Clutch cable play c::7 2-16
