• Install the cam chain guide

NOTE:
Make sure that the guide
1 is inserted properly or binding of the
cam chain and guide may result.
• Install the dowel pins
2 and new gasket

CYLINDER HEAD
• With the head snugly seated on the cylinder, secure it by
tightening the bolts in diagonal stages. Tighten the cylinder
head bolts diagonally to the specified torque.
# Cylinder head bolt
Initial: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.0 lb-ft)
Final: 46 N·m (4.6 kgf-m, 33.5 lb-ft)
NOTE:
* Apply engine oil to the threaded parts of the cylinder head
bolts and its washers.
* Be sure to install the washer with rounded side facing up.
• After tightening the cylinder head bolts to specification, tighten
the cylinder head bolts
1 and cylinder nuts
2 to the specified
torque.
# Cylinder head bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
Cylinder nut: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
Use a new cylinder head gasket to prevent gas leak-
age.
