ENGINE COMPONENTS INSPECTION AND SERVICE
CYLINDER HEAD
DISASSEMBLY

• Remove the intake pipe.
• Remove the engine coolant hose housing
1 and thermostat
2.
• Remove the tappets
3 and shims
4 by hand or by using a
magnet.
Identify the position of each removed part. Organize
the parts in their respective groups (i.e., exhaust or
intake) so that they can be installed in their original
positions.
