ENGINE REASSEMBLY
Reassemble the engine in the reverse order of disassembly.
Pay special attention to the following points:
NOTE:
Apply engine oil to each running and sliding part before reas-
sembling the engine.
CRANKSHAFT
• Determine the width between the webs referring to the figure
when rebuilding the crankshaft.
% Crank-web-to-web-width
Standard: 62.0 ± 0.1 mm (2.441 ± 0.004 in)
• When mounting the crankshaft in the crankcase, it is neces-
sary to pull its left end into the crankcase by using the special
tools.

Never fit the crankshaft into the crankcase by striking
it with a plastic hammer.
Always use the special tool, otherwise the accuracy of
the crankshaft alignment will be affected.
