REMOVAL
HANDLEBARS
• Remove the front fender. (!6-4)
• Remove the master cylinder assembly
1 from the handle-
bars. (!6-25)
• Remove the throttle lever case

• Disconnect the rear brake cable
3 and the clutch cable 4.
• Remove the clutch switch
5 with the detent A depressed.
• Remove the handlebar switch box

• Remove the steering head cover

• Remove the harness clamps

• Remove the handlebars

STEERING SHAFT AND TIE ROD
• Drain engine oil and coolant. (!2-12 and 2-14)
• Remove the radiator assembly
