• Align the master cylinder holder’s mating surface
A with the
punch mark
B on the handlebars and tighten the upper clamp
bolt first.
# Master cylinder clamp bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
C Master cylinder
D Master cylinder upper clamp bolt
E Handlebar
F Clearance
• Tighten the brake hose union bolt
1 to the specified torque.
# Brake hose union bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
NOTE:
After touching the brake hose union to the stopper, tighten the
union bolt.

Bleed air from the brake system after reassembling
