SWINGARM PIVOT SHAFT
Using a dial gauge, check the pivot shaft runout. If the runout
exceeds service limit, replace the pivot shaft with a new one.
& 09900-20607: Dial gauge (1/100 mm, 10 mm)
09900-20701: Magnetic stand
09900-21304: V-block (100 mm)
( Swingarm pivot shaft runout:
Service Limit: 0.3 mm (0.01 in)
CUSHION LEVER AND ROD BOLT
Inspect the cushion lever and rod bolts for damage or bend. If
any defect are noted, replace them with new ones.
CHAIN BUFFER
Inspect the chain buffer for wear and damage.
If any defects are found, replace the chain buffer with a new
one.
