Cylinder Head Removal
Remove the engine from the frame. (Refer to
chapter 5)
Remove the inlet pipe (2 nuts).
Remove 2 thermostat bolts and then remove the
thermostat.
Remove the bolt and spring of the cam chain
tensioner.
Loosen 2 bolts, and then remove tensioner.
Remove thermostat (2 bolts).
Remove Air Injection system (AI) pipe mounting
bolts.
Remove the spark plug.
Loosen 4 bolts from the head cover then remove
head cover.
