Selecting plots
Selected plots are surrounded by a blue selection rectangle.
If an overlay plot is selected in the Overlays area, the associated title in the
Galleries area is also highlighted.
In the Galleries area, plots from only one gallery can be selected at a time.
The following options are available:
To select a single plot within the Overlays area or Galleries area, click on
the plot.
To select or deselect multiple plots, hold Ctrl while clicking on plots.
Plots may also be selected by dragging out a selection rectangle around
the desired plots. The rectangle selects everything it touches. Ctrl
dragging a selection area around plots will toggle that selection of the
plots.
To select all plots, press the Ctrl + A keys.
On selecting an overlay plot, the Overlay Format tab becomes available on
the Ribbon providing options to change the format of all plots that are
available to that overlay plot (see chapter 12.4.16 Overlay Format tab on
page 131).
Reordering plots
Selected plots can be reordered within the Overlays area or the Galleries
area by drag and drop. Changing the order of the overlay plots will also
change the order of the associated galleries.
When changing the order of individual plots in the Galleries area, the plots
will be displayed on the overlay plot in that new order.
Resizing plots in the Overlays or Galleries area
For resizing plots, select the Resize Overlays or Resize Galleries button
from the status bar and use the resize slider on the status bar to adjust the
size of the plots (see chapter Resize options on page 186).
If a mouse with a central wheel is used, plots can also be resized by
selecting plots and pressing the Ctrl key while scrolling the mouse wheel.
