9. Place the belt on the pinion (e)
, so that the
belt is as much aligned as possible with the
pulley.
10.
Tighten a little bit the belt and rotate the
pulley until the belt is
pinion races.
11. Once stabilized the position of the belt, check
that it works completely on the tighten device
wheel (f) during the rotation
CAUTION: In case of the belt, during
THE rotation, DOES NOT work
completely on the tighten device
wheel: repeat the above operations
shifting the belt of one race.
To reassemble the same belt: tighten
again referring to the marks
previously done (see at the: Figure
7.11-4).
To assemble a new belt: refer to the
paragraph: 8.1. “Belt tension”.
