of
the
medium-frequency
constant-amplitude
signal
generator
to
the
input
of
the
7A15A
through
the
five-nanosecond
GR
cable,
50-ohm
GR
in-line
termination,
and
the
BNC
T
connector.
c.
Set the
7A15A
for
a
deflection
factor
of
one
volt/division.
d.
Set
the
7B53A
for
auto,
internal
triggering
at
a
calibrated
sweep
rate
of
10
microseconds/division.
e.
Set the
medium-frequency
generator
for
a
two-
division
display
at
its
reference
frequency
(50
kilohertz).
f.
Connect
the
output
of
the
BNC
T
connector
to
the
EXT
Z-AXIS
connector
with
the
42-inch
50-ohm
BNC
cable.
g.
CHECK—Top
portion
of
displayed
waveform
blanked
out,
h.
Disconnect
cable
from
external
Z-AXIS
connector.

Check
Beam
Finder
a.
Set the
7A15A
deflection
factor
to
20
millivolts/
division.
Notice
that
the
display
exceeds
the
viewing
area.
