7.7 Fuel system
Information regarding the fuel system
In order to prevent the formation of condensation water, fill up the fuel tank
nearly completely at the end of each working day.
Do not run the fuel tank completely dry. Otherwise, air is drawn into the
fuel system. This requires bleeding the fuel system.
Diesel fuel specification
Engine damage due to incorrect or dirty diesel fuel.
► Only used clean diesel fuel according to the engine/machine fluids and
lubricants.
► Do not use diesel fuel with additives.
► Do not refuel with a can.
Handling diesel fuel
Burn hazard due to deflagrations!
Fuels develop explosive and inflammable mixtures with air that can cause
severe burns or death.
► Do not smoke, avoid fire and open flames.
► Keep the maintenance area clean.
► Do not refuel in closed rooms.
► Do not add gas to the diesel fuel.
► Let the engine cool down.
