8-130 Phaser 4500 Service Manual
1. Remove the Left Cover (page 8-117).
2. Remove the Top Cover (page 8-119).
3. Remove the Duplex Unit PWBA (page 8-123).
4. Remove the screw (silver, 6 mm) that attaches the Duplex Unit Assembly
Harness Ground
5. Remove the three screws (gold tapping, 8 mm) that attach the Motor Bracket to
the Duplex Unit Housing Cover.
6. Remove the Latch Spring.
7. Remove the Motor Bracket together with the Duplex Unit Motor and Duplex
Unit Switch.
Note
When removing the Motor Bracket, be careful not to lose the gears attached
to the Duplex Unit Housing Cover.
8. Remove the two screws (silver, 6 mm) that attach the Duplex Unit Motor to the
Motor Bracket.
9. Remove the Duplex Unit Motor.
