Check for foreign noise:
Are there any other electrical
appliances within 3 m of the printer,
such as generators, radios, and
appliances with motors?
Go to step 2. Go to step 3.

Either turn off the other electrical
appliances, or re-locate the printer at least
6 m from other appliances.
Does the electrical noise problem still
occur?
Go to step 3 Problem solved.

Check the AC ground.
Is AC power supply outlet wired and
grounded correctly?
Go to step 4. Request that the
customer fix the
AC power supply
outlet.

Check the AC Power Harness Assembly.
Is the cable connected to the AC Power
Harness Assembly correctly grounded?
Go to step 5. Install the ground
screw correctly.

Replace the Print Cartridge.
Does the electrical noise problem still
occur after replacement?
Go to step 6. Problem solved.
