8-152 Phaser 4500 Service Manual
1. Remove the Stacker Rear Cover (page 8-133).
2. Remove the Stacker Cover (page 8-134).
3. Remove the Stacker Front Cover (page 8-137).
4. Slide the Cam Gear off its shaft (page 8-137).
5. Remove the two screws (one gold tapping, 8 mm; one silver machine, 6 mm) that
attach the Left Stacker Support.
6. Remove the two screws (gold tapping, 8 mm) that attach the Stacker Motor
Bracket to the Stacker.
7. Remove the Stacker Motor Bracket together with the Stacker Motor.
8. Remove Gears 45, 19/37, and two Gears 19, in that order.
9. Release the hook of the Offset Bearing, and turn it 90 degrees CCW to align the
lock tabs with the keyway slots in the chassis. Remove the Offset Bearing from
the Stacker Housing.
10. Remove the Offset Chute Assembly by raising the free end high enough to clear
the chassis while sliding in the direction of the arrow.
