7. On the central carburetor, tighten the
throttle lever tightening screw 1 counter-
clockwise to make the accelerator cam 6
aligned with the centerline of the roller 7.

8. Install the intake silencer and flywheel
cover.
9. Start the engine and adjust the engine idle
speed by turning the idle adjusting screw
2.
Adjusting the engine idle speed
1. Start the engine, warm it up for 5 minutes,
and shut it off.
2. Loosen the throttle lever tightening screw
1 clockwise on the central carburetor.

NOTE:
The throttle lever tightening screw 1 has left
hand threads.
3. Loosen the idle adjusting screw 2 to make
a gap between the screw tip and the throttle
arm stopper 3.

4. Turn-in the pilot screws 4 until they are
lightly seated, and then turn-out the pilot
screws by the specified turns.

NOTE:
Adjust the pilot screws at every carburetor.
Pilot screw turn-out :
1 1/8 ± 1/4 (7/8-1 3/8)
