20.10 System Operation Mode Overview
The Sys OP Mode (System Operation Mode) function lets you configure your EMG2306-R10A as an
router or access point. You can choose between Router or Access Point Mode depending on your
network topology and the features you require from your device.
The following describes the device modes available in your EMG2306-R10A.
Router
A router connects your local network with another network, such as the Internet. The router has
two IP addresses, the LAN IP address and the WAN IP address.
