￭ Reforming the capacitors
The capacitors must be reformed if the drive has been stored for a year or more. The
manufacturing date is on the type designation label. For information on reforming the

￭ Replacing the control panel battery
1. Turn the lid on the back of the panel counter-clockwise until the lid opens.
2. Replace the battery with a new CR2032 battery.
3. Put the lid back and tighten it by turning it clockwise.
4. Dispose of the old battery according to local disposal rules or applicable laws.
