• Rising edge of encoder DI1 (proximity switch signal) is detected at the first mark
of the belt. Position 0 mm is stored to signal 4.03 PROBE1 POS MEAS.
• Next rising edge of encoder DI1 (proximity switch signal) is detected at the
second mark of the belt. Position 30 mm is stored to signal 4.04 PROBE2 POS
MEAS.
• The reference distance between the marks is 40 mm and the measured distance
between the marks is 30 mm, thus the error is 10 mm:
(62.18 PROBE2 POS - 62.16 PROBE1 POS) - (4.04 PROBE2 POS MEAS - 4.03
PROBE1 POS MEAS)] = (40 - 0) - (30 - 0) = 10 mm
Note: Only after the active correction is finished is the next position latching enabled.
