Removing the SMB unit
Use this procedure to remove the SMB unit.
NoteAction
Decide which calibration routine to use, and
take actions accordingly prior to beginning
the repair procedure.

DANGER
Turn off all:
• electric power supply
• hydraulic pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot
working area.

CAUTION
Always cut the paint with a knife and grind
the paint edge when disassembling parts.

before replacing parts on page 201.

Remove the base cover.
CAUTION
Clean cover from metal residues before
opening.
Metal residues can cause shortage on the
boards which can result in hazardous fail-
ures.

Parts:
A Attachment screws (6 pcs)
B Base cover
C Cable straps, securing the battery
cable (2 pcs)
Cut the cable straps securing the battery
cable.
