NX does not connect to the generator due to ID tablet
Details This occurs on a DR installation in combination with a
digitizer using an ID Tablet.
The NX application and the Software Console cannot
connect to the generator.
An error message that no connection with the genera-
tor can be established is displayed on the Software
Console.
Restarting the NX application does not help.
Cause
Conflicting communication sequence during startup of
NX between the generator and the ID Tablet.
Brief Solution
1. Switch off the ID Tablet.
2. Stop the NX workstation.
3. Switch on the ID Tablet.
4. Start the NX workstation.
