Empty Bucky Failure, Double Exposure Failure
Details The exposure button was pressed but no exposure was
performed. No radiation icon is displayed. The prepara-
tion icon is displayed.
CR:
Error message 40 is displayed on the Software Con-
sole.
DR:
No error message is displayed. An empty image is
received in the NX.
Cause
Possible causes:
Functionality to avoid double exposure is activated
and the cassette has not been removed after the last
exposure. This applies to CR only.
No cassette or detector is inserted in the selected
bucky.
Brief Solution
1. Enter an unexposed cassette or a detector in the
bucky.
2. Confirm the error message in the Software Console.
This applies to CR only.
3. On the NX workstation, click Copy Exposure to
create a new thumbnail (DR) or click Add Image to
add a new exposure.
4. Repeat the steps described in the Basic Workflow.
