240 Sample probe lifter error
This error results when the sampler lifter motor encoder senses
an obstruction or cannot find its home position.
• Check and clear any obstruction to the lifter.
• Make sure vial size setting is correct. See Advanced
Function 12 on page 80.
• Check the carousel alignment. See page 142.

Agilent service representative with the number and name of the
error.
250 Carousel error
This error results when the carousel motor encoder senses an
obstruction or cannot find its position.
• Check and clear any obstruction to the carousel.
• Check the carousel alignment. See page 142.

260 6-port valve error
This error results when the 6-port valve motor encoder senses
an obstruction or cannot find its home position.
• Check and clear any obstruction to the valve motor linkage.
• Check the for any rubbing on the back side of the insulated
cover to the loop heated zone.
