Advanced Functions
Manual Operation
Description
This function manually operates the vial carousel advance, the
vial tray, valves, shutter, and both vial lifts to check for
malfunctions. If the operations do not work, see
Troubleshooting and Error Messages on page 163, then call
Agilent service.
The motors are not reset to their default states after using
Manual Operation. Use the reset function to restore motors to
their default state. See page 78.
Procedure
Use the cursor keys to scroll through the menu of items.
Carousel and Tray Press 1 to rotate clockwise 1 position. Press
0 to rotate counter-clockwise 1 position.
Lifter Tray and Lifter Sam. Press 1 to raise the lift. Press 0 to
lower the lift. The display shows how far the lift is raised in
relation to vial sizes. Note that the Lifter Tray cannot be raised
while the shutter is closed.
